My name is Devon “DiDi” Shilling. I’m an American maker and entrepreneur. I owned DiDi & Smiling John’s Barber Shop and Salon for 11 years in York Pa. After covid changed the landscape of doing business I decided to chase the dream of Homegrown Love.

The idea of Homegrown Love came to me while visiting Jamaica. So many talented people struggling to get their art out to the world. So I was going to help people turn their craft into a business to hopefully create generational change and stop some of the suffering. I moved to Jamaica in 2022 to begin the journey. I helped artists grow and did creativity and play workshops with the youth. I believe art is a healing thing and there is a lot of healing needed in these communities.

Along the way I grew as an artist and did the most good I could. I recently decided to come back to the US while still visiting Jamaica often. I am happy to share my art with you.
